School Infrastructure NSW grouped together various schools that require upgrade works and additional teaching facilities.
The schools continued operations during the expansion and upgrade works, so consideration was made to the appropriate staging of construction and the provision of demountable accommodation.
Each project provided appropriate core facilities to modern best practice in line with the Department’s Education Facilities Standards and Guidelines and to facilitate 21st Century and Future Focused learning objectives.
Claremont Meadows Public School
Claremont Meadows Public School is a K-6 primary school located in the Western Sydney District. The project provided 12 new permanent teaching spaces accommodating nearly 300 additional students, taking the capacity of the school to approximately 800 students. This project aims to meeting 20% of the required student population growth within the Penrith CBD Primary Cluster over the next 15 years.
