St Hilliers has been engaged to undertake early contractor involvement (ECI) for the expansion of a new school in Cooma, NSW. The Monaro High School Construction Works consists of a number of work elements across the school spanning a 16 month construction period. Four existing buildings will be demolished to make way for a new Innovation Hub, Performing Arts Centre, Food and Textiles Technology Building and a New Special Education/General Learning Area Building. Further to the new building works, a number of existing buildings will be undergoing significant refurbishments.
In addition to this there is the construction of a new car parking area for the school, new recreation facilities and a significant landscaping and external works package. All of these works are to be undertaken whilst the school maintains operations requiring St Hilliers to work closely with all stakeholders to achieve an optimal result for all parties.
