Bonner Primary School
The new school at Bonner consists of 7 large buildings and will provide schooling for Preschool to Year 6 students for the immediate community. The buildings include the administration building, library, large hall/gymnasium, canteen and three circular learning centres comprising part of the Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Learning & Cultural centre (ATSILCC) incorporating the Environment Science/Area.
Stage 1 Administration building, Library, Canteen, General Purpose Hall / Gymnasium, Multi-Purpose rooms, various classrooms car parks and associated landscaping.
Stage 2 – The ATSILCC rooms, various classrooms and remaining works including landscaping. Catering for students with special needs who are seeking to enrol in a main stream facility. these buildings are expected to have a peak capacity of 683 students.
All school buildings are to achieve a 5 Green Star design rating from The Green Building Council of Australia.
